Meet Adam
I have been a paid and volunteer fire fighter for 13 years in Dunedin and have now relocated to Bay Of Plenty. I have seen my fair share of events and attending to those in need.
My background as a Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist has given me plenty of interpersonal one on one.
I am a Certified Breathwork coach with SOSHA and also Advanced Instructor in Oxygen Advantage teachings.
During my own healing journey for the last 10 years I have learnt how there’s not one cookie cutter way to help towards one healing journey and can offer that personal adaption to your needs.
I am currently enrolled with Soma Psych 300 hour Trauma Informed Facilitator Training to help further my scope in which ways I can be more sensitive to working with individuals needs.
Honohono whakapapa to Tohunga Riwai Pakerau of Ngāti Porou, who then has passed it onto Tohunga Sally Rangiuaia Deery, to then pass it on to Tohunga (although he will not claim this title) Dion Rangiuaia Freeman, who is my Kaiako.
For me I find this medicine profound due to the mind not getting a say in what happens. The Wairua speaks and leads the way, highlighting the areas in need of healing.
There is no mucking around with this medicine, it’s the quickest way up the Maunga, there’s no hiding from it. While some heavy things may come up, trust that you will be in good hands.
My dog, Sonny has been part of this journey too and quite often joins us to offer support.
